Accompanied by our tour guide, come explore the most important of the German submarine bases built during World War 2, and discover just how Lorient found itself at the heart of the Battle of the Atlantic.
A visit to learn everything about the construction, operation, and immense history of this strategic site - including access to the largest of the bunkers, Block K3.
Duration: 1hrs
♦ PERTINENT INFORMATION :
• Reduced Pricing : supporting documents must be presented to the guide.
• Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
• The meeting point for the tour is in front of the entrance to bunker K3 10 minutes before start of the visit, with your ticket. (location 6, see map)
• Allow 10 minutes' walk from the central ticket office (Cité de la Voile building) to the start of this tour (entrance to bunker K3).
• This visit is only in French 🇫🇷Indoor route with stairs (135 steps). Not accessible to people with reduced mobility and strollers.

Take a trip on a sailboat with our skipper in the bay of Lorient, to discover the beauty and pleasures of navigation.
In groups of approximately 10, you’ll board our very own Kaidoz 31, leaving behind la Cité de la Voile Éric Tabarly, for backdrops of the Citadel of Port-Louis and Isle of Groix…
Our skipper adapts to each group: from the demonstrations provided, to the participation in the boat’s maneuvering, according to the level and the desire of each participant.
Duration: 1 hour on the water + briefing time & equipment (15 - 20 mins)
♥ PERTINENT INFORMATION:
Please visit the reception of the central ticket office 15min prior to departure, to complete your boarding certificates. Life jackets are provided. Departure is subject to weather conditions.
♥ Conditions to Access: Both adults and children must be able to swim. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 2yrs old are not permitted to board our boats.For individuals with disabilities, we strongly suggest that you book directly with our reception.
Every Thursday in the summer at 4:45 p.m., the sail trip is offered in XL format: 2 hours for the same price!

Une fête d'anniversaire à la Cité des Moussaillons !
Habitée par un voilier monumental sur 4 niveaux, la Cité des Moussaillons offre un espace de découvertes ludiques et pédagogiques, idéal pour un anniversaire inoubliable. Les enfants de 2 à 12 ans participent à la construction de la coque du navire, en explorent les phénomènes climatiques, comprennent les grands principes de vie des océans, grimpent dans le nid de pie, évoluent dans les cordages, imaginent des histoires...Au coeur de la Cité des Moussaillons, dans une salle privatisée pour le groupe, les enfants pourront partager le goûter d'anniversaire (non-fourni).
🥳 Le mercredi et le samedi après-midi
- Rendez-vous à 13h45 à l'accueil de la Cité de la Voile pour prendre possession de la salle d'anniversaire.
- Début de la séance Cité des Moussaillons à 14h (la séance dure 1h30). Le groupe pourra rejoindre à tout moment sa salle pour y partager le goûter d'anniversaire.
- Les participants à un anniversaire pourront, s'ils le souhaitent, participer à la deuxième séance 16h-17h30.
- Minimum : 7 enfants (max 15 enfants).
- Adultes accompagnants : gratuit (dans la limite de 2).
- Les petits aventuriers pourront évoluer librement dans la Cité des Moussaillons sous la surveillance et responsabilité des parents accompagnants.

Listen, young cabin boy ! Join the crew and come discover this place specially designed for kids between 2 and 12 years old, inhabited by a monumental sailboat on 4 levels.
On board, children embark on several adventures based on play, discovery and manipulation !
Young adventurers participate in the construction of the ship hull, explore the docks, experiment with climatic phenomena, understand the main principles of oceans life, climb into the crow's nest and walk in the ropes, imagine stories... so many experiences to live as a crew in this warm and entirely designed place for kids.
- Session time: 1.5 hours. It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes before the session. Entry is possible up to 30 minutes after the start. Any exit is final.
- All visitors must have a ticket (children and adults).
- The Cité des Moussaillons is dedicated to children from 2 to 12 years old. Outside this age group, the visitor is considered as an accompanying person and entry is only justified to accompany a child aged 2 to 12 years.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult (over 18 years).
- Free entry for children under 2 years old. A proof will be requested at the access control.
- It is not allowed to drink or eat in the Cité des Moussaillons.

Thrill seekers, come live a unique and supervised experience with TyRoll !
Soar from atop the Tower of Winds, on a breathtaking 350-meter flight at 60 km/h – all above the water!
Our facilitators will brief you, equip you and accompany you on your ascent of the Tower of Winds. Once you’ve reached the top, it’s time to catch your breath and soak in the exceptional view, as you overlook the harbor of Lorient and the International Offshore Racing Centre. You’ll even catch a glimpse of the Isle of Groix and Belle-Île-en-Mer…And when you’re ready, it’s time for your descent!45min timeslots (from equipping, to your return to the starting point)
- Access is restricted to weights between 25 and 110kg (55 - 242pnds). These constraints can potentially be modified according to the strength and direction of the wind.
- Unaccompanied minors must provide a signed certificate, available to download here or to be completed on site.
- You must arrive at least 15 minutes prior your chosen timeslot. Any delay will result in the cancellation of your order, without refund.
